Black Walnut and Honey Locust.

The body of the handle is Black Walnut, the bow is the same black walnut laminated together wih Honey locust.

Both woods are from salvaged trees in Eastern Washington. The black Walnut is salvaged from a Lake Chelan forest fire that jmped the columbia River and burned up thru a 100 plus year old hand planted Black Walnut grove. 

The honey locust tree was salvaged from a small city lot on Springwater street in Wenatchee.

As with all my nets this is 100% hand made in my shop at Lake Wenatchee.

It is finished with 100% pure tung oil, the first 3 coast cut with mineral oil for deep penetration, the last 3-4 coats are hand saned in. the last coat is hand sanded in with 1500 grit for a smooth finish
